Abstract
The charge state of europium (Eu) atoms adsorbed on the oxidized tungsten s urface is evaluated. An energy band diagram of the adsorption system is pro posed for large and small Eu coverages. The adsorption energy of Eu atoms i s estimated. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
