Abstract
The results of an experimental study on the thermal and organic geochemical investigation of Seyitomer oil shale sample are presented. Thermogravimetr y (TG/DTG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) have been used to de termine the thermal behaviour of the oil shale sample. On the other hand, o rganic carbon content, rock-eval pyrolysis, and gas and liquid chromatograp hy experiments were conducted to determine geochemical properties of the oi l shale sample, (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
