Ar. Peirson et P. Jansen, COMPARABILITY OF THE REY-OSTERRIETH AND TAYLOR FORMS OF THE COMPLEX FIGURE TEST, Clinical neuropsychologist, 11(3), 1997, pp. 244-248
This study investigated the equivalence of the Rey-Osterrieth and Tayl
or forms of the Complex Figure Test (CFT). Forty healthy subjects, equ
ivalent for age. Full Scale IQ, and handedness, were randomly assigned
to either the Rey-Osterrieth or Taylor condition. Although results sh
ow that the two figures are comparable tasks of copy accuracy (p = .18
7), significantly higher recall accuracy scores were produced by subje
cts in the Taylor Condition (p < .001). The Taylor group also differed
significantly on copy organizational quality scores (p < .01), althou
gh copy time was longer for the Rey-Osterrieth condition (p < .05).
