Abstract
Aryl boronic acids can be trapped by an ammonium hydroxide-form Dowex (R) I on Exchangers resin (D-OH-) leading to polymer-ionically bound borates and cyclized, when properly designed, into macroheterocycles under Suzuki-Miyau ra coupling conditions.
