Abstract
An Mo2N/gamma -Al2O3 catalyst is found to catalyze the double-bond migratio n (DBM) of adsorbed but-1-ene below 201 K by in situ FT-IR spectroscopy, re sembling the behavior of Group VIII metals in the isomerization of butenes.
