Abstract
Using GSH affinity chromatography followed by chromatofocusing two GST isof orms centered at pH 5.3 (Xl-GST-5.3) and pH 7.4 (Xl-GST-7.4) were found in Xenopus laevis liver. According to their structural and immunological prope rties, the two enzymes may be included into the mu (Xl-GST-7.4) and the del ta (Xl-GST-5.3) classes GST. The same forms were found in embryo at stage 8 . (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
