Immunolocalization of Bufo bufo embryo glutathione transferase (bbGST P1-1)

The aim of this work was the study of the topographic distribution of the m ajor form of Bufo bufo embryo glutathione transferase (bbGST P1-1) during t he development. For this purpose, we performed an immunolocalization of the enzyme on paraffin-embedded sections of B, bufo embryos at the development al stages of morula, neural plate, muscular response and operculum complete . From the results it appears that the enzyme is widely distributed through out the embryo since the early developmental stages, with a subcellular loc alization both cytoplasmic and nuclear.
