Abstract
Microfabricated cantilever arrays as miniature sensors for the highly sensi tive detection of oligonucleotide hybridization have recently been demonstr ated by researchers at the IBM laboratories in Switzerland. This research m ay lead to the future development of a new generation of DNA chips.
