Abstract
We report the case of a patient with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (C AH) secondary to a partial deficiency of 3 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydro genase. This form occurs in less than 1% of all patients with CAH. Son ographic evaluation of the adrenal glands demonstrated width and lengt h measurements significantly above normal values. The sonographic find ings are not diagnostic of the particular enzyme deficiency in CAH, an d the exact etiology should be pursued with laboratory investigation.
