Abstract
Total pressure measurements at 313.15 K are reported for binary systems of benzene and l-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-pentanol, 3-pentanol, and 2-methyl-2- butanol, The results are interpreted by an extended form of the Kretschmer- Wiebe association model, in which it is assumed that linear alcohol chains may solvate with a single benzene molecule.
