Abstract
An attempt to develop a method to simultaneously estimate both the resistiv
ity rho and the magnetic penetration depth lambda by vectorially measuring
the difference in the impedance between two circular solenoid coils, one wi
th and the other without a cylindrical superconductor, has been made. It wa
s ascertained that the legions of normal and anomalous skin effect can be d
efined from the frequency dependence of the difference in the impedance bet
ween the two coils. The mean free path of electrons iota is evaluated by ap
plying the frequency dependence of the difference in the impedance of the c
oils to the anomalous skin effect region. The values of rho, lambda and iot
a of Bi-based sintered bulks with different J(c) were evaluated at liquid N
-2 temperature.
