Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of magnetic field in high temperature hulk superconductor (HTSC), The macroscopic field equations constructed on the basis of the critical state model and levitation forces are simulated betwe en permanent magnets (PM) and HTSC using a 3D axisymmetric finite element m ethod. The force computations are obtained by using the Lorentz force equat ion, An iteration method is used to determine the current distribution of H TSC, because tile J-E relation in HTSC is extremely nonlinear, The numerica l results show that the presented method is comparatively accurate hy compa ring the measured levitation forces and the simulation ones.
