The electronic structure of Nb-doped SrTiO3 (SrTi1-xNbxO3) has been investi
gated by resonant photoemission spectroscopy (RPES). The valence band is we
ll described by the band calculation. The RPES spectra show that the Ti 3d
partial density of states in the valence band increases with increasing Nb
dopant concentration. This finding suggests that the hybridization effect b
etween the Ti 3d and O 2p stares depends on the Nb dopant concentration.
