Abstract
A new species of amphipod crustacean (Acanthonotozomellidae) from the deep- sea of the Drake Passage is described in detail. Its main characteristics t hat are unique for this species are: slender dorsal carinae on pereon on pl eon; small cuticular teeth all over the dorsal surface, the carinae and the coral plates; coxa 1 with deeply excavate apex.
