Pc. Morais et al., Experimental evidence of dimer disruption in ionic ferrofluid: a ferromagnetic resonance investigation, J MAGN MAGN, 225(1-2), 2001, pp. 84-88
Ferromagnetic resonance was used to investigate the thermal disruption of d
imers in nickel ferrite-based ionic ferrofluid. The data were analyzed usin
g four resonance lines, assigned to monomers and dimers. The resonance fiel
d shift around 280 K indicates the frozen-to-liquid state transition. Above
290 K, however, the dimer resonance field skews a critical behavior closel
y related to a second-order phase transition. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V
