Abstract
The addition-beta -elimination mechanism is a powerful method for the produ ction of organometallic derivatives. Using this new method, we report the f irst transformation of enol ethers into the corresponding vinyl zirconium d erivatives. Moreover, the in situ formation of TI(II) and subsequent reacti on with halogeno alkynes offers a new route for the preparation of function alized alkynyl titanium and trismetalated olefin derivatives.
