Abstract
The X-ray crystal structure of the 1,4-bis(dihydroxymethylsilyl)benzene exh ibits an unusual crystal packing with a hydrogen bonded network locking the orientation of the molecules to an approximate head-to-tail arrangement. ( C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
