Abstract
Cutaneous dendritic cells, either Langerhans cells of the epidermis or derm al dendrocytes, have a critical function in the immune system. They are pro fessional antigen presenting cells and play a key role in initiating immune responses. They are able to stimulate naive also able to stimulate seconda ry also able to stimulate secondary responses and the proliferation memory T cells.
