Abstract
The paper deals with the changes of band structure parameters under deforma tion. The values of these changes are calculated for the GaAs/AlGaAs struct ure of multiple quantum wells. The role of magnetophonon resonance as a met hod to evaluate the thermal stress in MQWs at the parallel charge carriers transport is emphasised. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved .
