Abstract
The synthesis and X-ray structure analysis of a new manganese(III) complex [MnL1(H2O)(2)]OTf displaying structural analogies with metalloporphyrins ar e described. This compound is characterized by very short Mn-N bond distanc es (1.93 Angstrom) and a nearly planar structure. Its ability to catalyze c yclohexene epoxidation in the presence of MCPBA has also been evaluated.
