Abstract
This article addresses a method to identify synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images with constrained correlation profile. This technique has been achiev ed by optimizing the average cross correlation intensity on the power-spect rum subtracted joint transform correlator through the Lagrange Multipliers procedure. A reference function is constructed in the input domain. The sys tem is invariant to partially out-of-plane rotation in the target image.
