Abstract
An original model is proposed for an industrial fixed-bed Fischer-Tropsch r eactor. The specific features of the thermal modes of the process and the c haracter of its variation depending of the synthesis conditions and geometr ic dimensions of the reactor tube were studied with this model. The possibi lities arising in the case of using the nitrogen-free synthesis gas and the gas substantially diluted with nitrogen were analyzed.
