The kinetic parameters of piperylene cationic oligomerization were examined
for a series of electrophilic catalysts based on aluminum and titanium com
pounds. The molecular characteristics of the obtained oligopiperylene are p
resented. The high performance of AlCl3.O(C6H5)(2) in the cationic oligomcr
ization of piperylene makes it possible to improve the process of manufactu
ring liquid oligopiperylene rubber.
