Abstract
The synthesis of 2,2'-diselenobisbenzamides and 4,4'-diselenobisbutyl amide s with sulfamoyl functions, two new groups of potential antiviral agents an d cytokine inducers, based on the acylation of the 4-aminobenzenosulfonamid es with corresponding chlorocarbonylaryl or chlorocarbonylalkyl diselenides , has been elaborated. In a similar way dithiobenzamide and diphenic acid b isbenzamide were obtained from dithio-2,2-bis-benzoic acid and diphenic aci d dichlorides respectively.
