Abstract
In a previous study, the authors related the incidence of sticker wrench fa ults to a characteristic acoustic emission signature. In the present paper, the effects of mill control variables on the incidence of sticker wrenchin g are investigated. The study provides an advance in the scientific underst anding of the origins of sticker wrench defects and has considerable commer cial potential.
