Abstract
The reaction of bisacetylenylmagnesium bromides with dichlorodiethylsilane
under conditions of high dilution can offer a convenient synthetic route to
12-, 15-, and 18-membered macrorings containing endocyclic double and trip
le bonds and silicon atoms.
