Abstract
A simple mathematical model, based on polynomial functions, was used to cor relate experimental vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data for the CO2 + ethan ol + water system. The data were collected from the literature for temperat ures 35, 40, 50, 60, and 70 degreesC and pressures from 10 MPa to 18.5 MPa. This model is able to reproduce the equilibrium compositions of the two ph ases within the experimental error given in the group of selected publicati ons.
