Abstract
Research has paid little attention to survivors of childhood sexual abuse w ho do not exhibit long-term negative consequences or who manifest resilienc e. This study investigated resilient outcomes, that is, competence in the f ace of adversity, and the factors associated with these outcomes in 136 wom en who were sexually abused as children.
