Abstract
The results of a systematic study of the gas phase interactions of alp ha-amino acids and peptides (4-15 amino acids) with alkaline earth met als, observed with mass spectrometric techniques, are presented. Furth ermore, a model for the cationization with calcium at the C-terminal a mino acid arginine in rotaviral polypeptides is presented. (C) 1997 El sevier Science B.V.
