Abstract
6-Azido-6-deoxy-curdlan (ADC) was synthesized by a direct regioselective re action of curdlan with triphenylphosphine, carbon tetrabromide and sodium a zide(NaN3) in DMF at room temperature. The structure of ADC was determined by C-13 NMR, IR and elemental analysis.
