Abstract
Surface of fine powder of Sm2Fe17Nx was modified with self-assembled monola yer (SAM) film derived from hydridosilane. The oxidation resistance of Sm2F e17Nx bonded magnet was effectively improved by good hydrophobic property o f the resulting SAM film.
