Abstract
ZnxCd1-xS nanorods were hydrothermally synthesized by a template reaction o
f CdS nanorods with ZnCl2.H2O and thiourea at 180 degreesC. Through changin
g the molar ratio of Zn to Cd in the reactants, ZnxCd1-xS nanorods (0<x<0.5
5) were obtained. XRD, ICP-AES, TEM and UV-vis were used to characterize th
e samples.
