Abstract
In this work, a new nonlinear optical Ba2Be2B2O7 crystal was grown by top-s eeded solution growth method using BaB2O4-BaCO3-NaF fluxes. The differentia l thermal analysis curve and a typical angle-tuned curve of Ba2Be2B2O7 crys tal were also investigated. The measured ultraviolet absorption edge of the title crystal was found to be about 215 nm.
