Abstract
This paper presents a method for calculating the overall buckling load of s imply supported composites sandwich panels containing a hole. Both the pre- buckling analysis and the overall buckling results are compared with other predictions and with experimental data where available. Good agreement is f ound if the hole diameter is less than 30% of the plate width. (C) 2001 Els evier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
