Abstract
A metal-ligand complex [Fe(phen)(mu (6)-bta)(1/2)](n) (phen = 1,10-phelanth roline; bta = benzene-1,2,4,5 -tetracarboxylate ligand) has been hydrotherm ally synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray cry stallography, showing that it possesses a novel, two-dimensional polymeric structure.
