Abstract
From the stem bark of Shorea hemsleyana (Dipterocarpaceae), four new stilbe noids with one or two dihydrofuran ring(s) [hemsleyanols C, D, hemsleyanosi des E, E and (-)-ampelopsin H] and a new stilbenoid with a carbonyl group ( hemsleyanol E) were isolated. The structures including the relative configu ration were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence.
