Abstract
The effect of 4 wt% Na3SO4 on the hydration of granulated blast Furnace sla g (GBFS) blended portland cement (1:1, referred to as the blended cement he re) has been studied. Na2SO4 accelerates the hydration in addition to activ ating the granulated blast furnace slag at the same time. Activating action may be explained by breaking of different bonds at the surface of the slag .
