Abstract
This paper mainly deals with the charging processes of a cylindrical heat s torage capsule filled with stearic acid, sliced paraffin and lauric acid as phase-change materials (PCMs). Experimental results demonstrate that, comp ared to the capsule with a single PCM, the charging rate of the capsule emp loying three PCMs is enhanced obviously.
