In a patient with WPW syndrome and idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy,
intractable atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia (AVRT) was iatrogen
ically induced. QRS without preexcitation, caused by junctional escape
beats after verapamil or unidirectional antegrade block of accessory
pathway after catheter ablation, established frequent AVRT attack.
