Abstract
This paper describes the flaw evaluation procedures in the French RSE-M cod e, which describes the rules for in-service inspection of nuclear power pla nt components. Some specific novel features of the flaw evaluation procedur es are described including the method for estimating J for combined thermal and mechanical loads, treatment of small-scale yielding and stress intensi ty factor solutions.
