Abstract
A new TLM modelling method has been developed for patch antennas on magneti zed ferrite substrate. The antenna has magnetically controllable resonance frequency and beam direction. The anisotropic permeability tenser of ferrit e is modelled by state equations derived from the Polder tenser. Simulation results agree with measurement. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
