Eg. Bulakh et Mn. Markova, An approach to the approximation of gravity data inversion in the class ofcontact surfaces, IZV-PHYS SO, 37(4), 2001, pp. 310-318
The gravity data inversion problem is solved in the class of contact surfac
es using a parametric geological model. Each surface is described by an ana
lytic formula with a small number of parameters. An excess mass density can
be a nonlinear function of coordinates. The problem is reduced to the mini
mization of specially constructed functionals whose characteristic features
are described. If reference points are specified at the sought surface. a
regularizing term can be introduced into the functional. The procedure of c
onstructing the first approximation of the model is presented. If boundary
conditions are formulated for each model parameter, the target function can
be calculated along a given direction. The functionals have a complex ravi
ne structure and are minimized by methods described earlier. Two examples o
f the solution of inverse problems are presented.
