A model is proposed that allows one to calculate the radiation pattern of e
lectromagnetic waves generated by magnetostatic surface waves (MSSWs) propa
gating in a ferrite film (FF) magnetized hy a transversely nonuniform field
. The model is based on the concept of the accelerated motion of magnetic c
harges generated by MSSWs. The conditions are revealed that determine the s
hape of the radiation pattern and its dependence on the parameters of the r
adiator, ferrite film, magnetization field, and the frequency of MSSWs.
