Abstract
An unusual presentation of acute tonsillitis complicated by retropharyngeal and thyroid abscess is reported. Spontaneous rupture of retropharyngeal ab scess resulted in necrotic fistulae between the pharyngeal wall and the ret ropharyngeal space.
