Abstract
In a one-pot reaction acylated glycosyl cyanides were transformed with Rane y nickel-sodium hypophosphite into 2,5- and 2,6-anhydroaldose tosylhydrazon es, which gave exo-glycals under Bamford-Stevens conditions.
