Abstract
Cyclic voltammetry combined with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measureme nts were utilized to explore the kinetic of the electro-oxidation of formic acid on dispersed platinum and perchlorate doped polypyrrole film electrod es. Experimental conditions for the preparation of the electrocatalytic sys tem were determined. Results strongly suggest the doping effect on the reac tion mechanism.
