Abstract
The combined uncertainty of the analysis of aerosol samples was evaluated. Monitoring system has been designed and implemented for characterisation of the environmental condition of Hungary. Aerosol samples were collected at K-puszta (Hungary) and the lead content was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry after acid digestion. For the calculation of the results two different approaches were considered, namely a.) calculation of the combine d uncertainty and b.) estimation of the sampling errors using transport and fields blank. The latter gives the parameters which have to be considered during sampling and sample handling, and measurement.
