Abstract
By using chemical ovens, a series of porous TIC materials have been synthes ized on parabolic flight plane. The morphology of combustion product obtain ed in the present microgravity is quite different from that under gravity c ondition. TiC materials combustion synthesized in microgravity are more uni form distribution and finer porosity. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All ri ghts reserved.
