Subsolidus equilibria in air in the RuO2-PbO-CeO2 systems were studied with
the aim of obtaining information on possible interactions between the Pb2R
u2O6.5 based cathode and CeO2 based solid electrolyte in solid oxide fuel c
ells (SOFC). No ternary compound was found in the system. The tie line is b
etween Pb2Ru2O6.5 and CeO2. The obtained results indicate that a Pb2Ru2O6.5
-based cathode material would not react with a ceria based solid electrolyt
