Abstract
Structural relaxation in FeSiB-Cu(NbX) alloys is evidenced by enthalpy rele ase exothermic DSC maxima and by changes in the Curie temperature of the am orphous phase upon annealing. A monotonic increase in T-C with annealing te mperature and time is found and the equilibrium T-C values show a linear de pendence with the inverse of the annealing temperature. An uniformly linear log (time) kinetics results and the relaxation time decreases exponentiall y as the annealing temperature increases. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. Al l rights reserved.
